GÜNTHER Heisskanaltechnik can look back on a successful company history. Out of the garage, GÜNTHER Heisskanaltechnik developed from a small hot runner manufacturer into an internationally active and technology-leading company. Started in 1983 with two employees, today more than 220 employees are responsible for the success of the company.
Thick-film heating elements for heating the hot runner nozzles have been developed, manufactured and sold in-house in Frankenberg in northern Hesse since 2010. Due to their properties, they offer a clear advantage in the processing of plastics compared to the heating elements commonly available on the market. Coming from the hot runner technology, we would like to use the advantages and versatility of the thick-film heating elements to improve other processes in which the generation of heat is necessary.
With your help, we would like to find new fields of application for our technology that benefit from the use of thick-film heating elements. Due to the flexibility of the manufacturing process, it is possible to produce heating elements from quantities of 1.
In order to guarantee a high quality while processing plastics to the customer, Günther produces its own heating elements by means of screen printing for heating the hot runner nozzles. Thus, Günther is independent of suppliers and can offer its customers a high-quality product as an alternative to usually used heating elements.
Besides the feature „Made in Germany“ the thick-film heating elements have a lot of benefits. Furthermore, it is necessary to produce them in a cleanroom, because the layers are applied to a substrate with a thickness of only 20 µm. This is possible by using the screen printing process.
